BYU Football: Did you know? (Rushing Yards by Air Force)

The Brigham Young Cougars held the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to 117 yards rushing last week. Under normal circumstances, that total would be a little disappointing for BYU. With Georgia Tech being an option offense, this rushing total is phenomenal.
Did you know that BYU held Air Force to less than 117 rushing yards just twice in the last 25 years?
Those two times were 1998 (111 yards) and 1992 (106 yards).

The Falcons are the only option team that BYU played on a regular basis since 1987. BYU did play Rice in 1996 and 1997 when the Owls ran a successful option attack. Neither season did BYU hold Rice to less than 117 yards, but the Cougars did come close in 1996 (119 yards).
