Brandon Ogletree has been the leading tackler for the Brigham Young Cougars each of the last two seasons. Therefore, it was surprising to see Ogletree had the 9th most tackles in last Saturday's game at San Jose State .
Did you know that in 2011 and the first 11 games of 2012, Brandon Ogletree has been the team’s leading tackler in 14 of the 23 games he has played?
Six of the 14 games, Ogletree tied for the team high in tackles. In the one game Ogletree did not play, his replacement led the team in tackles (see below).
Below is Ogletree’s game-by-game tackles total for the last two seasons. If he wasn’t the team’s leading tackler, the leading tackler is noted in parenthesis.
2011
TCU: 8
2012
Notre Dame: 7 (Daniel Sorensen, 10)
Georgia Tech: 8*
