BYU Football: Did you know? (Offensive Coordinator Alma Mater)

While Kalani Sitake continues to look for a new offensive coordinator for the BYU Cougars, let's take a look at some of the guys who held this position in the past.
Did you know that the last BYU football offensive coordinator who was not a BYU graduate was Todd Bradford (2003-04)?
Todd Bradford currently coaches linebackers at Kansas.

After Bradford was not retained following Gary Crowton's departure, BYU has had three different men serve as offensive coordinator. All three were BYU graduates.
  • Robert Anae: 2005-10, 2013-15
  • Brandon Doman: 2011-12
  • Ty Detmer: 2016-17
Of the men believed to be candidates for the current opening, Aaron Roderick, Dennis Simmons, and Jason Beck are former Cougars. The others' alma maters are as follows:
  • Boston College (Paul Peterson)
  • UTEP (Jeff Grimes)
  • Southern Utah (Fesi Sitake, Justin Walterscheid)
  • Louisiana Tech* (Kevin McGivens)
  • Doane University (Bob Stitt)
*McGivens played one year at Louisiana Tech, but graduated with a degree from Utah Valley University.
