Matt Bushman was the BYU Cougars' leading receiver last season with 520 yards. It was the first time since 2009 that a tight end had more than 500 yards receiving for BYU. That was the greater significance of Bushman's receiving output last year. The Cougars finally had a receiving threat at tight end again.
Did you know that Matt Bushman's 520 receiving yards was the 20th most in a single season by a BYU tight end?That's not super, but considering he was just a freshman, it is a great sign for the future.
