Michael Davis continues to be that guy who overcame long odds to not just make a NFL roster, but hear his name called every week. Everyone else, pretty much, "did their thing."

Here is the run down for all former BYU players in the NFL for week eight.

Ezekiel Ansah, Detroit Lions (3-4 L Pittsburgh Steelers 20-15)
Ansah was slowed by a knee injury, but he still played. His only tackle was a tackle for loss.

John Denney, Miami Dolphins (4-3 L Baltimore Ravens 40-0)
Denney did the long snapping for one field goal and eight punts.

Daniel Sorensen, Kansas City Chiefs (6-2 W Denver Broncos 29-19)
Sorensen tied for the team high with seven tackles, and he did it by making the final tackle of the game.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (6-2 W Los Angeles Chargers 21-13)
Van Noy also tied for the team high in tackles, but he had just six. However, one of his take downs was for a loss, and he also had a pass deflection.

Harvey Langi, New England Patriots (6-2 W Los Angeles Chargers 21-13)
Langi will be out the rest of the year recovering from his car accident.

Bronson Kaufusi, Baltimore Ravens (4-4 W Miami Dolphins 40-0)
Kaufusi did not play this week.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers (4-3 BYE)
Williams was in Provo this weekend watching BYU destroy San Jose State. He was one of the Alumni Flag Bearers.

Alani Fua, Arizona Cardinals (3-4 BYE)
Fua will not play until fully recovering from an injury sustained last season.

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (5-2 W Chicago Bears 20-12)
Hill did not play.

Kai Nacua, Cleveland Browns (0-8 L Minnesota Vikings 33-16)
Nacua played, but did not record any stats.

Michael Davis, Los Angeles Chargers (3-5 L New England Patriots 21-13)
Davis saw his role on special teams expand when he returned two kickoffs for a total of 36 yards. His only tackle was a touchdown saving shove out of bounds on a kickoff. Not only did it save a TD, but the Patriots missed their field goal and the drive ended with zero points.

Jordan Leslie, Cleveland Browns (0-8 L Minnesota Vikings 33-16)
Leslie pulled a hamstring and is on injured reserve.
