BYU in NFL, Week 6: KVN registers two sacks, Ansah recovers a fumble; tragedy strikes Harvey Langi

After a devastating tragedy hit the Harvey Langi family, Langi's Patriot teammate Kyle Van Noy had a big game. 


Here is the run down for all former BYU players in the NFL for week six. 

Ezekiel Ansah, Detroit Lions (3-3 L New Orleans Saints 52-38)
Ansah had two tackles and recovered a fumble in the loss. He also got pressure on Saints quarterback Drew Brees and forced an interception, click here to watch. 



John Denney, Miami Dolphins (3-2 W Atlanta Falcons 20-17) 
Denney snapped perfectly for two punts, two field goal, and two extra points.

Daniel Sorensen, Kansas City Chiefs (5-1 L Pittsburgh Steelers 19-13)
Sorensen tied for a team-high eight tackles, including one tackle for loss on the game's opening series. He would have had nine tackles, but a tackle he made on a punt did not count because of a penalty. 

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (4-2 W New York Jets 24-17)
Van Noy also tied for a team-high with seven tackles. He made one tackle for loss and two sacks. Each sack came in the final two minutes of each half of the game. Van Noy was also credited with a quarterback hurry the play before his fourth quarter sack when the Jets were trying to tie the game and force overtime.




Harvey Langi, New England Patriots (4-2 W New York Jets 24-17)
Langi and his wife were involved in a serious car accident as they were rear ended by a fast traveling vehicle. From the DeseretNews.com story
Langi is being treated for neck and head injuries and his wife Cassie suffered fractures to both hips, broken ribs and is being evaluated for possible internal bleeding and injury to her liver and spleen, according to Wahlin.

Bronson Kaufusi, Baltimore Ravens (3-3 L Chicago Bears 27-24 OT)
Kaufusi made two tackles.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers (4-2 L Minnesota Vikings 23-10)
Williams played but did not register any stats.

Alani Fua, Arizona Cardinals (3-2 W Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-33)
Fua will not play until fully recovering from an injury sustained last season.

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (3-2 W Detroit Lions 52-38)
Hill did not play.

Kai Nacua, Cleveland Browns (0-6 L Houston Texans 33-17)
Nacua played, but did not record any stats.

Michael Davis, Los Angeles Chargers (2-4 W Oakland Raiders 17-16)
Davis had one tackle on a kickoff.

Jordan Leslie, Cleveland Browns (0-6 L Houston Texans 33-17)
Leslie pulled a hamstring and is out.
