Poll Results: What will be a bigger success?

The white-out orchestrated by the Brigham Young Cougars athletics administration received 65% of the votes compared to 35% for the new BYU tailgating rules.

My vote goes to the white-out as well.

I heard ample moaning and groaning about both the white-out and the tailgating rules. In the end, the tailgating and the fan adherence to the dress code both went well on Thursday. Tailgating has many more moving parts than putting on a shirt that is the proper color, but the shear volume of people that had to go along with it made it a bigger success, in my opinion. Plus, it was seen on television and written about by the national press.

Maybe the white-out and tailgating are apples to oranges and shouldn't have been put together in the same poll question. Oh well. If you are one of the tailgaters, don't let this get you down.

Thank you to everyone who voted. Don't forget to vote in this week's poll: "Which defensive stat was most impressive versus Washington State?"
