Help send former BYU Cougars to the Pro Bowl



Three former BYU Cougars are on the NFL Pro Bowl Ballot. It is time for Cougar Nation to unite and get them a spot on the Pro Bowl roster.

Ezekiel Ansah, Kyle Van Noy, Daniel Sorensen are the three former Cougars on the ballot.

Ansah is a defensive end (DE). He has played his entire career for the Detroit Lions, and was a Pro Bowler after the 2015 season. He has 25 tackles, 5 sacks and 3 tackles for loss (TFL) on the season.

Van Noy is an outside linebacker (OLB) in his fourth season, but first full season with the New England Patriots. His season stats are 73 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 5 TFL, and 2 pass breakups.

Daniel Sorensen is the leading tackler for the Kansas City Chiefs. This season he has 78 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 4 TFL, 4 pass break ups, and 1 interception.

Fan voting has already begun at http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot. You can vote as many times as you want. In fact, the site encourages it. After your vote is cast, it gives you a button to click to "Vote Again."

Voting ends December 14, 2017. The Pro Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida, on January, 28, 2018.

Rules

2. How To Vote:  The Pro Bowl players are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 All-Star players who will be eligible for the Pro Bowl.  Fans may cast their votes for their favorite players as described below. 

Fan voting closes on December 14, 2016

a) Online Voting 

NFL.com: Beginning on November 14th, 2017, you can vote online at NFL.com/ProBowlVote.  

b) Social Media Voting  

Beginning on November 14, 2017, you may also vote via Twitter, the exclusive social voting partner of the NFL Pro Bowl. To place a vote via Twitter:

a) One must have an active Twitter account 

b) Between Nov 13th and December 14th, access the Direct Message (DM) user experience via entry cards from the @NFL or @team handles or initiating a message with the @NFL handle 

c) Between December 7th and December 14th (the “Tweet to Vote Period”), in addition to the DM experience, you may also vote by Tweeting #ProBowlVote with either: Player #FirstNameLastName, Player FirstName LastName, or Player @ handle. Retweets or Replies of tweets which include the #ProBowlVote and any of the above combinations will also count as votes (as long as they are public tweets) 

As of the time of publication of these Official Fan Voting Rules, registration for each of the Eligible Platforms is free of charge.
