Williams scores an amazing touchdown and reaches career milestone, as does Sorensen

Bronson Kaufusi (91) is enjoying a renaissance of his NFL career with the New York Jets (Source: NewYorkJets.com)

Jamaal Williams continues to look more like he did his rookie season as his playing time continued to increase now that Aaron Jones is out for the season with injury. He hit the 1,000 yards rushing milestone for his career, and had over 150 yards of total offense. He also had an amazing touchdown run. Sorensen joins Van Noy as former Cougars reaching 200 career tackles this season.

Bronson Kaufusi continues to see playing time as his career has received a second life.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (10-5) W Buffalo Bills 24-12

Van Noy had three tackles for the second week in a row. He also got pressure on the Bills quarterback to help force an incomplete pass on a third down. Van Noy played 58 defensive snaps (95%) and 11 special teams plays (38%).

John Denney, Miami Dolphins (7-8) L Jacksonville Jaguars 17-7

Denney was the long snapper for six punts, one field goal, and one extra point.

He has four tackles this season.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers (6-8-1) W New York Jets 44-38 OT

Williams had his best game of the season. He started the game with a bang--a 19-yard run on his first carry. His seven-yard touchdown run with 1:33 to play in the second quarter started the Packers' comeback from a 21-7 deficit He also had runs of 13 and 15 yards in the first half. The Jets adjusted at halftime to stop Williams on the ground, which turned him into a threat through the air. He caught a 26-yard pass just before the two-minute warning the drive the Packers tied the game to send it to overtime. In OT, he had runs of seven and nine yards on the game winning drive.

Williams is just 28 yards of total offense shy of 1,500 for his career. However, his 95 yards of kickoff return yards gives him 1,567 career all-purpose yards. Certainly this strong play down the stretch will help his chances of the new coaching staff finding a role for him in the offense next year.

He played 86 offensive snaps (95%).

Fred Warner, San Francisco 49ers (4-11) L Chicago Bears 14-9

Warner made just four tackles in the loss. It would have been five, but one of his tackles was wiped out by an ineligible receiver downfield penalty. Warner may have cost the 49ers the game. He was called for a defensive holding penalty that negated a 49ers interception in the second quarter. The Bears took advantage of retaining possession by scoring a touchdown. Warner was in 64 defensive downs (100%) and four special teams plays (21%).
