Ziggy sets NFL record, Williams has a new role in Green Bay,

Kyle Van Noy pressuring the Jets QB on Sunday.

It was a great Thanksgiving with two Cougars playing. All former BYU players in action had solid performances this week.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (8-3) W New York Jets 27-13

Van Noy had a good day. He was tied for second on the team with five tackles, including a tackle for loss. He also had a pass breakup. Van Noy played 63 defensive snaps (98%) and nine special teams plays (33%).

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (10-1) W Atlanta Falcons 31-17

Hill had very few touches, but he did still have a nice kickoff return and a couple of physical runs. He was sacked once for a loss of three yards, but little known fact, the NFL no longer subtracts those yards from a players' rushing total.

Hill played 11 offensive snaps (19%) and 18 special teams plays (78%).

Daniel Sorensen, Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) BYE

Sorensen probably didn't need the week off, since he missed the first half of the season, but it was the Chiefs' bye week nonetheless.

John Denney, Miami Dolphins (5-6) L Indianapolis Colts 27-24

Denney was the long snapper for six punts, three extra points, and one field goal. It had to hurt watching the opposing teams' long snapper get to snap the ball for a game winning field goal on the final play of the game.

He has four tackles this season.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers (4-6-1) L Minnesota Vikings 24-17

Williams continues to be an afterthought in the Packers offense. However, he did have a new role on special teams. He returned his first kickoff. It was for 23 yards.

He played 13 offensive snaps (25%) and nine special teams plays (32%).
