BYU Cougar fans can cheer the return of Daniel Sorensen. The safety made his first appearance this week for the Kansas City Chiels. Kyle Van Noy provided another reason to cheer as he reached the career milestone of 200 tackles.
Fred Warner got the better of two star players, while Michael Davis maintained his starting role.
Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (7-3) L 34-10
Van Noy's dominant showing was greatly overshadowed by the Patriots getting blownout. He finished with 13 tackles. Van Noy did get credit for half of a tackle for loss. He played 88 percent of the New England defensive downs (57), and 37 percent of the special teams plays (11).
The official stats for last week's Green Bay game have been updated to reflect a half of a TFL for Van Noy.

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (8-1) W Cincinnati Bengals 51-14
Hill wasn't needed to provide a spark with the Saints firing on all cylinders in Cincinnati. Two of his four rushes were for first downs. His one pass attempt was on a 1st and Goal from the one-yard line, so he still hasn't had that first TD pass.
Hill played 23 offensive snaps (31%) and 19 special teams plays (68%).
He is getting noticed, though. Here's a breakdown of his game on ESPN's morning show Get up!
The @Saints offense is LOADED enough with Brees & company-but the addiction of @T_Hill4 & all he does MAKES THEM “savage”. They use him in a ton of ways-& he’s their difference maker as they make a SB run! @MikeTriplett @TheSaints @jkatzenstein @Amos_MoraleIII @nick_underhill pic.twitter.com/TKfTZULNpy— Dan Orlovsky (@danorlovsky7) November 13, 2018

Fred Warner, San Francisco 49ers (2-8) L New York Giants 27-23
Warner probably takes little consolation in breaking up two passes intended for Giants' star receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. and in stopping star running back Saquon Barkley for one yard on 3rd and Goal from the two-yard line. The 49ers defense gave up a touchdown pass in the final minute to lose the game.
