BYU Football: Did You Know? (Won-Loss Record vs. 2012 Opponents)

The Brigham Young Cougars have played every team on its 2012 schedule at least once before.

Did you know that BYU has an all-time won-loss record of 116-118-7 against its 2012 regular season opponents?
BYU has a winning record against five of them, a losing record against four of them, and the series is tied with three opponents.

BYU has never lost to two of the opponents, and has never beat one. However, none of those three series have been played more than twice. Any opponent on the 2012 schedule that BYU has played three times or more, each team has won at least once.

The team-by-team series results are as follows:

Washington State: 2-1
Weber State: 2-0
Utah: 31-52-4
Boise State: 0-2
Hawai’i: 20-8
Utah State: 44-34-3
Oregon State: 5-5
Notre Dame: 2-4
Georgia Tech: 1-1
Idaho: 2-2
San Jose State: 6-9
New Mexico State: 1-0

Does that mean that fate will have us lose to Weber State, but beat Boise State this year? That would be a strange twist.
