BYU Football: Did you know? (First Career Touchdown)

The Brigham Young Cougars have seen 11 different players score touchdowns this season.

Did you know that six BYU players have scored their first career touchdown this season?

Those six players are:

  1. Skyler Ridley. Washington State, 1:36, 1st Quarter. 7-yard catch.
  2. Taysom Hill. Weber State, 13:12, 2nd Quarter. 2-yard run.
  3. James Lark.Weber State, 13:10, 4th Quarter. 6-yard run.
  4. Jamaal Williams. Utah, 13:43, 4th Quarter. 7-yard run.
  5. Devin Mahina. Hawaii, 4:18, 3rd Quarter. 12-yard catch.
  6. Paul Lasike. Hawaii, 0:00, 3rd Quarter. 4-yard run.

Additonally, both Lark and Hill threw their first career touchdown passes this season. Hill's was an 18-yard pass to Kaneakua Friel with 13:26 left in the second quarter of the Washington State game. Lark's first career touchdown pass was two yards to Friel with 8:42 to play in the Weber State game.

Furthermore, Riley Stephenson scored the first point of his career following Ridley's touchdown when he successfully kicked the point-after touchdown.
