BYU in NFL, Week 11: Sorensen gets a turnover, Williams gets to start, Davis gets a lot of playing time

Daniel Sorensen after his interception (Source: Kansas City Chiefs official twitter account)

Daniel Sorensen finally got a turnover that counted. He had two early in the season reversed after replay review. Jamaal Williams had an ok day in the starters role. Thanks to a 30-point halftime lead for the Chargers, Michael Davis saw over a quarter of action on defense.

Here is a complete rundown of former Cougars in the NFL for week eleven.

Ezekiel Ansah, Detroit Lions (6-4, W 27-24 Chicago Bears)
Ansah did not play this week against the Bears. He sat out his second consecutive game with a bad back.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (8-2, W 33-8 Oakland Raiders)
Van Noy made four tackles and got half a sack. He also got a running into the kicker penalty on a punt that turned out helping the Patriots. The five-yard penalty made it 4th and 1, so the Raiders decided not to punt. New England got the stop, and better field position.

Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers (5-5, L 23-0 Baltimore Ravens)
Williams had an ok first start. He was the team's leading rusher, and second leading receiver. Williams picked up three first downs on the ground and two through the air. It appeared he fumbled a reception late in the game, but replay review ruled the pass incomplete. Also, he did get stuffed on back-to-back plays in the third quarter (3rd and 2 and 4th and 1).
