BYU vs. Weber State Post Game Podcast

More game analysis for the Brigham Young Cougars' 45-13 win over Weber State. Thoughts about the slow start, the BYU coaching philosophy, as well as players who stood out.

Major Oops! I can't believe I left out Cody Hoffman and Riley Nelson as "Players of Interest."

So, really quick. Hoffman was a beast. First five receptions were good for first downs or a touchdown, which makes his first eight receptions for the season (3 vs. Washington State) chain movers. He went over 100 yards for the game, and I can't help but wonder if this is the start of an Austin Collie like streak of 100 yard receiving games for Hoffman.

Nelson sat out the second half due to back spasms, and because BYU had the lead. I don't make anything of it. He will play and be fine against Utah. If he misses time or is ineffective against Utah, it will be for other reasons.
