Thursday Trivia: Brandon Doman's 2001 Pass Efficiency Rating

The correct answer to the last trivia question, "During their sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, who attempted more passes: Ty Detmer or Max Hall?" is Max Hall. Hall threw 1,383 passes (496 as a sophomore, 478 as a junior, and 409 as a senior) to 1,377 for Detmer (412 as a sophomore, 562 as a junior, 403 as a senior). This question was asked to illustrate that Detmer’s career record for most passes attempted is breakable. Hall and Detmer are the only two quarterbacks in BYU history to play full time their final three seasons. Had Hall been afforded the opportunities that Detmer or Jake Heaps were as freshmen, then Hall would be the current record holder for most pass attempts in a career.

On to this week's question.

This week we have been talking a lot about pass efficiency ratings. Yesterday’s flashback left out Brandon Doman’s 2001 season. Doman had a 159.7 rating that year. This week’s trivia question asks:
Where does Doman’s 159.7 pass efficency rating in 2001 rank, all-time, for a single season among BYU quarterbacks?
Leave your answer in the comments section. Come back next week when the answer is revealed and a new trivia question is asked.
