BYU Football: Did you know? (Cody Hoffman in December)

Earlier this week, Brigham Young Cougars wide receiver Cody Hoffman was featured on BLUE COUGAR FOOTBALL for his “November to Remember.” With an important bowl game looming for BYU, it is interesting to see what Hoffman has done in the month of December.
Did you know that in three December games during his career, Cody Hoffman has averaged 7.67 receptions, 127.3 yards, and 2.33 touchdowns per game?
The three December games that Hoffman has played, thus far, in his career are the 2010 New Mexico Bowl versus UTEP, at Hawaii in 2011, and the 2011 Armed Forces Bowl versus Tulsa.

His stat lines for those games are:

UTEP: 8 receptions, 137 yards, 3 TD
Hawaii: 7 receptions, 123 yards, 1 TD
Tulsa: 8 receptions, 122 yards, 3 TD

The stats don’t tell everything about how well Hoffman played in these December games. Here are links to highlights that will.
