Sorensen gets some redemption, Williams back in the mix in Green Bay

Jamaal Williams returning a kickoff (Evan Siegal, Packers.com)

It was an interesting week for BYU alums in the NFL. Daniel Sorensen and Jamaal Williams had the most notable showings. Van Noy, Warner, and Davis continued their consistent strong play. Taysom Hill and Ezekiel Ansah were inexplicably quiet.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (9-3) W Minnesota Vikings 24-10

Van Noy had five tackles. One forced a punt after third down. He also got pressure on another third down that helped force an incomplete pass and subsquent punt. Van Noy played 61 defensive snaps (100%) and four special teams plays (16%).

Daniel Sorensen, Kansas City Chiefs (10-2) W Oakland Raiders 40-33

Sorensen recovered a fumble that occurred at the end of a big Raiders run that took the ball across the 50-yard line. It was the only drive in the second half the Raiders didn't score. In a one touchdown game, this turnover was big, and helps provide a little redemption after the Rams game. He also had a couple tackles and a pass defensed

Sorensen played 37 defensive snaps (49%) and nine special teams plays (28%).
