BYU Football: Did you know? (Most Receiving Yards in a Game)

In honor of former Brigham Young Cougars tight end Dennis Pitta reaching the Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens, this week and next week's "Did you know?" feature will focus on him.

Did you know that Dennis Pitta has the most receiving yards in a game by a BYU football player since 1997?
As a junior in 2008, Pitta had 213 yards receiving against Northern Iowa.

The last BYU football player with more yards receiving in a single game was Ben Cahoon on September 20, 1997, at Arizona State. He had 219 yards.

Todd Watkins is the only other BYU player from 1997 to the present to have had 200 yards receiving in a single game. He had 211 yards at Boise State in 2004.
