Van Noy scores first NFL touchdown, Warner making tons of tackles again, and more Taysom trickeration

Source: NESN.com

The end zone was a familiar place for Kyle Van Noy when he was a BYU Cougar. He finally scored a touchdown as a pro on Sunday.

The Saints continue to use Taysom Hill to keep opponents off balance, including another fake punt.

While a Taysom sighting isn't such a rare thing anymore, two Cougars have yet to see the field post injury.

Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots (5-2), W Chicago Bears 38-31

Van Noy played a good game on defense for the Patriots. He was second on the team with six tackles, including one tackle for loss.

His major highlight was returning a blocked punt 29 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to give New Emgland a 31-24 lead. It was the Patriots' second special teams TD of the game.

At least one guy thinks Van Noy impacted the final play of the game to prevent a Bears touchdown.

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (5-1) W Baltimore Ravens 24-23

Hill had a couple of big plays for the Saints this week. After completing his first pass on a fake punt a few weeks ago, he ran for a first down on a fake punt on 4th and 1 this week.

That came just four plays into the game. Later that same drive, Hill was credited with a fumble when his pitch was dropped. That was another fourth down play.

Late in the game, he helped set up the Saints' go-ahead TD with this 11-yard run.

He also had two tackles on kickoff returns. Most of Hill's plays can be seen on this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/IFlsHf3bQlU
