BYU Football: Did you know? (Cody Hoffman)

Brigham Young Cougars wide receiver Cody Hoffman had 8 receptions for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Armed Forced Bowl. It was his second big bowl performance.

Did you know that Cody Hoffman is just the third BYU player to have over 100 yards receiving in two different bowl games, and the only player to have 3 touchdown receptions in two different bowl games?
The other two players with two 100-yard receiving days in bowl games are Clay Brown and Austin Collie.

Clay Brown
1979 Holiday Bowl: 9 receptions, 142 yards
1980 Holiday Bowl: 5 receptions, 155 yards

Austin Collie
2007 Las Vegas Bowl: 6 receptions, 107 yards
2008 Las Vegas Bowl: 11 receptions, 119 yards

Cody Hoffman
2010 New Mexico Bowl: 8 receptions, 137 yards
2011 Armed Forces Bowl: 8 receptions, 122 yards

In each bowl game, Hoffman had 3 touchdown receptions. Clay Brown is the only other Cougar to have 3 touchdown receptions in a single bowl game (1980 Holiday Bowl). Hoffman has now done it twice.
